“Culture Building Initiative”
Based on the need to have a common culture across various geographies of Advanta. A common platform of culture building exercise was planned under the brand name of “Nucleus”
Pacific Seeds (Thai) took this opportunity to have a mega event planned to have the vision and values of the company to be imbibed into the staff minds. The core theme being Innovation, Agility, Respect and Excellence. Using this as a having linked the company brand image to associated with the values and vision.
The culture building event was done on a mega scale and fulfill activity hold on 31th August 2012 at Lopburi Inn Resort.
Construction of New Office Space of Pacific Seeds Pacific Seeds (Thai) had a formal ceremony with prayer and blessing from monks from the Lopburi temple. The foundation stone was laid by all the Management staffs of PacThai. The event was held on the 1st June 2012 as it was an auspicious day as per Thai calendar and more than 120 staffs members were present to witness this day.
Innovative Idea “Farmer Credit Card Scheme”
The Ministry of Finance launched a new credit card scheme for farmers to allow them easy and part access to agriculture inputs.
The scheme is targeted to reduce the cost of cultivation, and reduce the financial burden on farmers.
Pacific Seeds was honored to participate in this scheme and hence signed a memorandum of understanding to be a part of the initiative
Mid Year Review – held at Bangkok
This year Asia Mid Year review was held in Bangkok in Jasmine Executive Hotel at Sukhumvit in Bangkok.
The meeting was chaired by the Global Management Team and the respective RBM’s along with their country representative were there to present the reviews and preview for the remaining half of the year was done in the same event.
The year start half was slightly low due to shortage in tropical corn which contributes as major crop for Asia.
A massive launch campaign of field corn for the year 2012
Pacific Seeds (Thai) Ltd. have organized a massive launch campaign for the year 2012 ; thanks to the generous budget offered to us for this significant event. As an event we started by thanking our customers for contributing their efforts in the previous years success and set an expectation for this year plans and good goals.
The launch campaign was presided by Mr. Pachok Pongpanich (Managing Director) , Mr. Yongyut Pansung (Marketing Manager) , Mr. Montree Kongdang (R&D Manager) along with Marketing Team. The event was held on 9 th of March 2012 at Rama Garden , Bangkok. All the major distributors had participated in the two days event.
The campaign had a lucky draw for the year valued at 3 million baht.
The participants of 200 distributors were enthusiastic when the brand ambassador; Mr. Khao Sai Galaxy the former boxing champion made a surprise appearance on the event stage.
All of them took pictures with the boxing champion and were happy with the surprise that Pacific Seeds (Thai) had organized.
The event was followed by a river cruise and dinner. The distributors were immensely impressed by the hospitality offered by Pacific Seeds (Thai). The event ended with distributors promising to contribute their full efforts towards this year success.
Pacific Seeds (Thai) recently, represented by Mr. Yongyut Pansung , Marketing Manager signed an MOU with Singburi College of Agriculture by Mr. Bunsong Phommanon for Hybrid Waxy Corn Seed “Fancy Purple Color 111” technology development.
Pacific Seeds (Thai) has provided the students of College with free Fancy Purple Color 111 hybrid seeds. The families of the students are encouraged and trained to use this new technology hybrid.
This will improve the economy of the families of the student and return increase the brand value to Pacific Seeds (Thai) which will promote the increased planting area of Fancy Purple Color 111 in Singburi Province.
